In the beautiful village of Atsipopoulo, a few kilometers from Rethymno center, you will find 'Villa Rogdia',  a 200-square-meter villa with a private swimming pool that can host up to 8 persons in 4 bedrooms. Villa Rogdia is located right in the heart of Atsipopoulo village, which means that local services (tavernas, a supermarket, cafes, an ATM, a pharmacy, etc.) are only 2 minutes away on foot. At the same time, the local flora and olive grove surrounding the villa ensure your privacy and calmness. 

The owners have respected the traditional Cretan architecture and have used indigenous materials such as stone and wood. However, they have constructed a luxurious house, as comfort and opulence are the most important points of holidays. They await you to experience the Cretan hospitality, tradition, and history while relaxing and relishing the tranquility. 

Location

Villa Rogdia is one of the three villas of the complex and it’s located in the center of Atsipopoulo village. It is the perfect accommodation choice as it will meet all your needs when on dreamy holidays. A supermarket, a bakery, a grocery shop, a butchery, cafes, tavernas, an ATM, and a pharmacy are within walking distance (200 meters from the entrance of the villas). The moment you cross the doorstep, the whole atmosphere changes and you step into a peaceful and relaxing paradise that will allow you to unwind.

Furthermore, the center of the picturesque Venetian town of Rethymno is also 5 kilometers away and a 10-minute drive. The location of the villas is also ideal for exploring our whole island. Located in the center of the north part of Crete, only 3 kilometers away from the highway it provides easy access to the local airports (Heraklion and Chania) and the opportunity to visit every corner of the island, allowing you to discover urban spaces, traditional authentic villages, secluded beaches, and popular local sights both in the north and south part of Crete.

Layout

Villa Rogdia is constructed in maisonette style, covering 200 m2, featuring 4 bedrooms, and it can accommodate up to 8 persons. The property includes an open-plan space with a living room, dining room, and an open-plan kitchen. A private swimming pool and its huge terrace will allow you to unwind and enjoy your time off.

Interior

The ground floor of the villa consists of an open-plan area featuring the living area with a luxury sitting room, a fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a dining area. It also includes a WC, a luxury bathroom with hydromassage, an entertainment area, and a laundry room.

The top floor homes the bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed and ensuite bathroom and two bedrooms with two single beds each. Moreover, there is a small bathroom for the single bedrooms, a lavatory, and two balconies. The huge one offers views of the swimming pool, the traditional village nearby, and the olive grove, while the second one faces solely the village. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Exterior

The exterior area of the villa includes a 30 square-meter private swimming pool and it is equipped with 8 sunbeds and two shading umbrellas, as well as an outdoor shower for your comfort. Furthermore, the huge terrace includes the dining area and the barbecue facilities. Equipped with a dining table and seats for 8 people it is ideal for your breakfast or dinner. The premises of the villa are fully fenced offering total privacy for the guests and ensuring 2 private parking spaces.  The swimming pool of the villa can also be heated with an extra cost of 40 euros per day (upon request at least 7 days before arrival and valid only for the whole booking)

-The city of Rethymno is only 10 minutes drive from our villa, so having a walk on the picturesque cobblestoned streets is more than easy. 
-Don't forget to explore the old part of village Atsipopoulo. Its beauties are not so famous, but a small walk around the authentic Cretan neighborhoods and contact with the friendly local people will impress you.
